- the border includes oak leaves, names of Commonwealth counties (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, India)
- maker's mark on the back plus a "GB" impressed in the ceramic
- very good vintage condition; no chips or cracks or crazing
- the original gold trim is worn
