Tea has been drunk in china from as far back as 2700 BC when the legend goes, it was discovered by the Emperor Shen-nung. While boiling his drinking water, the Emperor noticed some leaves fall off the branch of the wild tea tree into his pot. On tasting it, he discovered the leaves had imbued the water with a wonderful flavour - and so tea drinking was born.
