Product code: Om Mani store Padme Hum Hexagon Mandala, Mixed Media Art Collage 6"x8"

Om Mani Padme Hum is the six-syllabled Sanskrit mantra associated with Avalokiteshvara (Tibetan Chenrezig, Chinese Guanyin, Japanese Kannon), the Bodhisattva of compassion & mercy. Mani means "jewel" or "bead" & Padma means "the lotus flower," the Buddhist Sacred Flower. This auspicious mantra is ubiquitous in all Tibetan Buddhist schools, commonly recited, carved onto rocks, prayer flags & paper.

This delicate piece combines a baby blue floral pattern and a Japanese brown Chiyogami paper. I then cut the blue paper into hexagons, affixed them to the Japanese paper and carefully painted Om Mani Padme Hum in gold ink inside the hexagons. Om is written at 12 oclock, & the rest of the mantra is clockwise.

Perfect for your altar or to bring wisdom & blessing to your home or office.

• Stamped on the back in red with my Chinese seal depicting my name "Seigan" (Vow). The piece is affixed to an illustration board backing.

Ready to frame. I will ship this carefully wrapped, flat & protected with card board backing & cello store sleeve. Note that this piece comes unmatted.
