I create custom works of art that are related to my art studio work known as Meanings of the Heart Art. My work is a result of studying the science of memory creation and moments of interaction which help us form loving bonds together. As a result I have created a style that consists of a simplified photograph that puts emphasis on the elements of interaction and engagement and is personalized to moments that are special to you and your loved ones. I represent the bonding moment with each person having the iconic heart of which swirls of watercolor represent emotions of joy, happiness, and love. I use minimal background to help highlight the interaction but elements are included that tell the place or time the interaction occurred. Folks love to purchase my work to give as gifts to celebrate special life events.

Having a personalized illustration done in pen and ink and watercolor is easy to have created for you and your loved ones. I work with photos of your family or friends to generate special features of each person in which they will recognize as them. I love hearing all the special moments and stories customers have shared with me and turning them into an everlasting work that puts smiles on their loved ones face every time they look at the work.

This particular image is for celebrating a son's/daughter's/grandchild's arrival or first birthday along with the proud parents or grandparents. The child is placed in the center of the image and is shown surrounded by the parents. This image may be personalized by the design of the baby blanket, the parents hair and season( Spring, Fall, Winter and Summer) as depicted around the parents feet or all around the parents to represent the month the child was born in.

Grandparents, siblings and pets may be included in the image select the option to add extra characters.

NOTE: THIS IS FOR ORDERING A DIGITAL FILE TO PRINT - no physical image will be provided.

Also NOTE: The cost is due to the time I invest in creating your custom image. The digital file is to allow you to print for your personal use as a gift or for invitations or announcements. All rights reserved by the artist. Contact me if you wish to license my art.


*HOW TO ORDER*

1. Select the option you would like for your piece (Spring or Summer or Fall or Winter Baby or Customized Portrait or Customized Portrait Option of additional characters)

2. Purchase the product.

3. After purchasing contact me through Etsy messages and provide photos of the parents, grandparents siblings, pets and blanket if have one specifically in mind.

4. Include the season and what images of that season you would like.

5. Within 1 weeks time I will have a rough draft for you to view and changes discussed if needed.
*Keep a look out for an email. Production will be delayed with a slow or no response.*

6. Two to three days after, a final drawing will be provided for approval for production in pen and ink + watercolor.

7. One week after the image will be finished.

8. Typical completion time is approximately 2. 5 to 3 weeks from start to finish.



*Size and Orientation"

The image is created to fit a 14 x 11 inch mat and is illustrated to hang in the vertical orientation. If you wish a smaller size please let me know and we can discuss options.



*Materials Note*

This is for a digital file download.

All materials used are created on paper for the watercolor production and then the image is scanned for printing digitally. The file is then sent to you as a PDF ready for printing. Using a matt photo paper will give a nice print of the image if plan on adding the mat. If not matting then printing with a glossy photo paper is nice to use.

The price reflects the store use of materials to create the work. This is not created digitally.
