These antique hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs are in very good condition. There are no dings and only the very faintest of scratches from use. The hallmarks are nice and crisp and date the tongs to London 1876, putting them in the reign of Queen Victoria. The maker's initials are a little rubbed but appear to be, "HH" which indicates they were produced by Henry Holland. There is an intricate monogram on the end which I find difficult to decipher.
