The main part is a beautiful Spring Green waterglass. The six chimes are colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet. Each strand holding a chime has several glass beads in the color of the rainbow hanging below. The entire piece hangs approximately 18-20 inches, including hanger, and will create a pleasantly delicate twinkling sound in the breeze. If you'd prefer a different length of hanger please send me that information in 'note to seller' when you order.

This hangs on a sturdy silver color chain hanger, but you have the choice of hanger, including the near-invisible monofilament line embellished with rainbow color glass beads in photo 5. Size or length can be adjusted also.

These wind chimes are not loud and will not disturb your neighbors. I have made dozens of these, including similar designs for our own personal collection at home. These have held up well for the 7+ years I've been creating them, however I do recommend bringing them in or placing in a store secure location under harsh weather conditions.

I create these using the Tiffany, copper foil method. The glass is carefully chosen and cut to pattern, then the edges are ground down, cleaned, and wrapped in copper foil. The flux is applied to the foil and I used my heated soldering iron to melt and apply the metal that holds everything together.

I string the chosen glass beads on mono-filament and use crimp beads to close the ends together.

As with any stained glass there may be slight variations in color, pattern, or design. This is a good thing because it means you will have a unique item!
