Super Fun 'Gilbert Microscope and Lab Set' in Original Metal Box - 1960s - store Binocular Eyepiece With Lightbulb - Science Find - Partial Lab

This is a vintage 1960s metal and plastic store microscope from Gilbert. It is unique in that it has a binocular eyepiece as opposed to a mono. The microscope is metal and plastic and seems to work well. It has an add-on lightbulb for illumination from below. There is a partial set of lab slides and a very large , folded twelve page instruction sheet. It is a wonderful old, educational toy, manufactured for budding scientists. It comes in its original metal case that is in very good condition. There are scuffs and very light rust. The inside has great color. The case measures 9¼" by 13½" by 3½" deep with a styrofoam lining.
