This pretty doll is Jill made by Vogue Dolls. She is Ginny's big sister. She is a walker doll. Her legs move back and forth as if walking. Her head turns from side to side when the legs are moved. She has jointed knees. Her face paint is intact, as is the fingernail and toe paint. She has sleep eyes. Her hair is a strawberry blonde vinyl wig that is in a ponytail. She has wire loops in her ears, but the drop pearls are long gone. She is wearing her original black cotton leotard that she was dressed in out of the box. It has the "Vogue Dolls, Inc." tag. Also original to the doll are her shoes. The elastic still works and the rhinestones are intact. Embossed on her lower back is "Jill - Vogue Dolls - Inc. - Made in U.S.A. - copyright symbol 1957". This doll is 10" tall x 3-5/8" wide x 2-1/2" deep.
She is also wearing a formal halter dress. It is black and white velvet and satin. The dress has the same tag as the leotard, but it is more worn.
Jill comes in her original box. The box is worn but complete. It is 10-7/8" tall x 4" wide x 2-1/2" deep. It does still have the insert to hold the doll in place. The box end states "7352 Brunette ponytail $3.00". I am not sure whether this hair color is considered brunette. It is more of a reddish blonde.
Jill has been used. Her hair is mussed, but has the original curls. She has a darker spot on her upper left back that can be seen in picture #6. She has a small spot on the formal halter dress that you can see in picture #9. The box has marks and creases. It is worn. But it is store intact. there are no associated odors.
