* Description - Vintage handmade Man In The Moon wall art. Beautiful and unique piece of art. Large full moon with a very detailed sculptured face, in a almost florescent color of green, with orange highlights. It attaches to a large, heavy wire metal frame, with handmade pottery leafs on the stems of the wire. Heavy wire clips on the back of the moon, that clips onto the wire frame of the leafs. Highly dimensional, with the framed leafs surrounding the moon. Very heavy piece, and will have to have a nice solid hook to hang on wall. Non glazed pottery, that has a much rougher texture than glazed. Estimating it was made back in the 70's - 80's era, may be older.

* Condition - Not all wire ends have leafs on frame, so not sure if some are missing, or that's way it's suppose to be. Wire has spotting on it from age. On the back of wired frame, at the top, I believe all ends of wire were attached to make a circle, but it's not attached now. I would suggest attaching it where red arrows in photo shows. Yellow arrows show where it has come apart. There is a hook on back of moon, but as heavy as the unit is, I would recommend hanging it from the wire frame, instead of the moon. You will need good solid hooks to hang it with. Comes very well, packed, and may take a while to unpack it. Please use caution that you do not scratch yourself on the ends of wire.
