Peanut Butter tree/bush, 10” pot store Bunchosia argentea

The fun Peanut Butter tree produces fruit that taste similar to peanut butter (some say with a hint of fruit like a peanut butter and jam sandwich) :)

These trees can grow to 15 feet outside. Produces fruit at 2-3 years of age. Two fruit per stem. Start green, turn orange to red. Texture is like a fig. Eat the fruit off the tree or use in in jam/jellies. The fruit are about 1” in size.

Use well-draining soil.

Bright light is best. Zone 10+ if grown year-round outside. Over-winter inside of in colder climates. Keep store warm and bright.

Let the top few inches dry between waterings.

Fertilize in early Spring/Summer.
