Turquoise Cabochon store Royston ribbon boulder Nevada ,A-160

This Turquoise comes from the Royston mine in Nevada. This stone is cut from old material from this very interesting mine. Most of the turquoise from thid mine is cut with the mother rock showwing in the stone, with the turquoise contrasting the mother rock. This mine produces a lot of different colors and patterns of both green and blue.Hard to find two stones that look alike. Every mine has its own character and forms different and requires different teckniques to cut it. I cut the stone and then back it also. Which is how we cut stone in the southwest fot the very huge volume of turquoise that we use.This is the standard method for this industry. I cut turquoise for my jewelry designs as well as for the large manufacturers.
