Have your little one's or loved store one's fingerprint captured on a pure silver charm and attached to a sterling silver keyring. Fingerprints usually start to develop at around six months of age although this will vary from child to child and really good line detail may not be visible until between one and two years of age. Alternatively I make handprint and footprint keyrings which are suitable from birth. Fingerprints may fade with age and lose definition in older people.

Once you have placed your order I will send you an easy-to-use kit with enough moulding putty to take two fingerprints so that I can choose the best one. It comes with full instructions but if you have any questions or difficulties just get in touch and I will be happy to help :)

When I've received the prints I will impress the best one into pure silver and handcraft it into the shape of your choice. I am happy to engrave a name, date or other text FREE OF CHARGE on the front or reverse of the charm.

If you would like a different shape from those offered or have any particular requirements please do let me know and I will work with you to create something special.

The appearance of your keyring will depend on the size and shape of the fingerprint supplied so may differ from that pictured.

Please note there is a possibility of charms attached to keyrings developing small scratches which can happen when pure silver comes into contact with other metals (in this case keys).

Print-taking kits are despatched within two working days of an order being placed and the finished product will be sent to you within three weeks of receiving your prints. If you need the keyring in a hurry then please let me know and I will do my best to get it done by your chosen date.

Print-taking kits are sent via 1st class post and your silver will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure that it is adequately insured.
