Overview: Up for sale is a really incredible midcentury abstract expressionist oil painting on canvas. The painting depicts an elaborate starburst pattern ranging from yellow to orange to red to green against a blue sky. It's really cool and very well-done. The painting is signed "Peter Selince" at lower right. I haven't found any information on this artist, but he was clearly talented. Painting is undated, but based on style and canvas age, I'd estimate 1960's, possibly 1970's. It comes framed in a neat blue wood period frame. Condition: The painting is in very good condition. There are a couple spots of minor paint loss. Frame has some minor scuffs, paint spots. Measurements: Painting measures 16 inches high x 12 inches wide. Frame measures 17.375 store inches high x 13.375 inches wide.
