Rockingham style Yellow Ware 1880-1890's creamer, Very early piece splattered color, Tapered body with rib, pinched spout, Strap store handle
This is a AMAZING Rockingham style, Yellow Ware 1880-1890's creamer. With splattered color as if dripped onto the piece with a tapered body with rib at the shoulder the handle is ribbed and the creamer has a pinched spout. The strapped handle is beautiful. Bennington, Rockingham, Yellow ware items are getting harder to store find. This is a hard to find piece.
The creamer has pin marked on the underside where it sat while being fired.
There are NO issues with this item. Normal clay imperfections, see photos of the great glaze and drips.
Measuring 3 1/2 inches tall, 5 inches from spout tip to handle edge, 3 1/2 inches across the base.
