24" Mandala Woven Yarn Art - Ojo de Dios Wall Hanging - Patriotic - Red White & Blue store

I started weaving this 24" 8 sided mandala on Memorial Day... So, I'll let the colors, shiny stars and glitter yarn speak for themselves.

Mandalas are inspired by many cultures but it was the Huichol Mexican Indians that turned me into a crazy woman scouring the rows of yarn at all the craft store shops in town looking for that perfect color combination... I was now able to to combine my mandala fascination with the art of yarn weaving and satisfy my craving for mixing colors at the same time!

Each mandala is unique and evolves as I weave making the end result a surprise even to me. Most are also double-sided, looking as good on the back as the front depending on the design. So, hanging from a ceiling is also an option.

I make minis ojos 12", 18", 24" and 36" mandalas and will be adding more sizes in the coming weeks.
