The two main images in this piece were inspired by a toy and a piece of jewelry I saw. The toy intrigue me and I didn't quite know what a humanoid Jaguar meant to Mexicans and why so many images of that cat were inspiring to them. Then I found out the Jaguar symbolizes strength and resolve which appeals to many Mexicans. A child or adult dressed as a store Jaguar or someone who wearing "cat"jewelry hopes to inhabit that strength when they put either of these symbols on.

This piece is an example of using every tool available to me from iPhone apps, photoshop, photography, sketching and inking.
