Red Wing Ceramastone Pottery Coffee Set 1960's Adobestone Pattern
Fabulous Mid Century Modern serving set.
Adobestone was one of the six patterns made in the Ceramastone shape. The Ceramastone line was introduced in mid 1966, just a year before Red Wing Potteries closed in 1967. The dinnerware was made from stoneware clay and included six patterns, this pretty set again is considered Adobestone. A rich earthy mellow tone.
Approx. size:
Coffee - 10.5" tall
Six Cups - 3.25" tall by 3" at the opening
This shows a wonderful form and feels so Mid-Century. Very good condition. There are slight imperfections that would be typical but store I see no cracks or chips. Again, the color is very pleasing, I've seen other items in this color and this set stands out. Some of the photos the flash doesn't do them justice.
