Pre WW2 1941-42 Montgomery Ward Healthgard 100% Wool Oatmeal Two-Piece Long Underwear / store Long Jones Men's Chest 36"

We found this set in the 1941 winter catalog on google books!!!

Sometimes you wonder how something survived. That said, here we have one of the oldest items in the entire collection, and it's spectacular.

Oatmeal 100% wool two-piece long underwear / long johns.

Top is pullover with quarter-button offset front.

Bottom are button fly.


Very Good vintage condition (at the least!) with only a few tiny holes/blemishes as to be expected in wool of this age. Almost near mint and considering the age, exceptional.

Light, Mild pilling of fabric on bottoms.

These were very obviously worn but a few times and put away. I can't imagine finding a pair in better condition than this one.


PLEASE check the measurements as vintage clothing sizes may not comparable to contemporary sizes.

Length in back: 33"

On bottoms:
