Large Victorian Gilt Banded Agate store Hinged Locket, Sentimental Keepsake Jewellery, 4.5cm x 3.3cm

Large antique locket with store banded agate front and back. Gilt metal frame.
Very good condition for age. Sturdy construction. Clips together perfectly. Tiny wobble to hinge though no sign of weakness. Full working order. Looks good inside and out.

The agate is glossy dark brown and white. On each side can be seen matched lines in the stone. These are due to the natural material being used rather than later damage. Photos show the locket magnified.
