Up for sale is a beautiful 19th century hand colored engraving depicting the city of Cincinnati, Ohio. Printed in 1873 this engraving shows a finely dressed mother with her young child overlooking the city from a hilltop. The city is seen with tall church steeples and steamships traveling the water. Resting in a nice double matted silver wood frame measuring 12 x 15.25 inches the engraving measures 5 x 8.5 inches and is ready to be hung and enjoyed. The sheet shows some foxing and toning but displays extremely well with its margins being framed out of view.
