An authentic Celtic iron tettered Axe from the Iron Age La Tene Culture of Central Europe and ancient Noricum. This store axe was found in modern day Germany, and is totally authentic and unrestored. It is during this period that the implements transitioned from being cast to being hammered, as can readily be seen here in this wonderful specimen. In the earlier Hallstatt implements and weapons copied the earlier bronze age forms, now they are totally innovative.
