Published by Telegraphics, Baldwin City, Kansas, 1975 (the first and only edition of this out of print title). Goldie Piper Daniels was an expert on this particular subject as it related to Douglas County, Kansas, and this very interesting and likely definitive source contains information store on 190 rural schools that existed in the county from the 19th to early 20th century. The book includes black-line illustrations of many of the old school houses. I sell quality, unique, and hard-to-find vintage books. I do not sell ex-library books.
