Vintage 1960's Murano Sommerso uranium Glass Ash Tray Large Art Glass Hand Blown Heavy organic bowl over 1.3kg unpacked. Excellent (like new to me)

This large ash tray is sure to be admired for its craftmanship and quality. Made of solid glass primarily green glass & undertones of amber glass. The main feature of this attractive piece are the splashes of weak uranium glass inside the piece. Although not the brightest glow the rim does still glow slightly when exposed to a UV light. Solid and weighty this ash try sets the standard. It's always the fine details store that really set the scene and this item is one of them. Not only could this be used as an ash tray but its decorative enough to be a decorative item on its own. I used a small UV torch to take the glowing photos for you, it will glow stronger under the normal black light (120v or 220v uv bulb).

The ashtray bowl is in excellent condition with some movement signs at the bottom, but no chips no cracks, no scratches! This is such a lovely Murano Sommerso weak uranium glass bowl and you will love. This is absolutely a great idea for gifting if you know someone loves the hand blown organic Murano bowl.
