Purple store Aster Flower Fiber Art Quilt, Home Decor, Gifts for Anyone, 11"x13"

This beautiful wall art of three purple aster flowers is a fabric and fiber art quilt that will steal your heart. The purple asters are a beautiful contrast to the gold painted gauze background that is attached diagonally to a piece of black and white wool. The stems of the flowers are sage green pieces of wool and other fibers were added to green artificial leaves. There is an actual part of a tree branch attached to the bottom of the scene and other stitching done to resemble greenery. The purple asters are artificial flowers and are firmly attached to the quilt. The quilt measures approximately 13.5 inches long by 11 inches wide.
The black and white wool used for the background of the quilt is also used to finish the back. A beautifully shaped wooden stick from a real tree is attached to the upper edge of the art quilt. This stick was treated with Mod Podge before it was attached. There is also another piece of driftwood attached to the lower edge and is surrounded by the fibers of the greenery of the scene.
The black and white wool was layered with a piece of low loft batting and then machine quilted. The store edges of the quilt have been frayed, are unfinished and an uneven edge enhances the piece. There is a dated artist label attached to the back of the art quilt. A wire hanger is attached to the upper edge of the back of the quilt and it will hang from one small nail.
